Making Video E-mail

Add Still Images to Video

  1. Click on the Overlay button to activate Overlay Setup.


  2. Select the Image Gallery from the upper-right corner. Click on the Load Image button, a file folder icon, to import images into the gallery.

  3. Drag images from the Image Gallery to the Overlay Track in the Timeline View. Stretch the image to the desired length.

  4. Click on the Motion and Filter tab. Select Fit to Screen to stretch the image to the full space of the preview window.

TIP: For the best effect, import still images that are 720x480 pixels. Otherwise, you may click on the Fit to Screen button from the Motion & Filter tab to stretch your image to fit your video.

Add Titles to Video

  1. Click on the Title button to activate Title Setup.


  2. Double-click in the preview window to begin typing text. Apply text formatting as desired from the upper-left corner. Double-click in the Title Track of the Timeline View to commit the title.

  3. Drag and drop the title to the desired position in the preview window.

  4. Stretch the title in the Title Track to the desire duration.

Output Video to File

  1. Click on the Share button to activate Share Setup.


  2. Click on the Create Video File button. In the pop-up menu, select Custom.

    TIP: In order to optimize your video clip for e-mail, keeping your file attachment size to under 500Kb, makes sure to use these parameters:
  3. Video clip 30 - 40 seconds
  4. WMV file format
  5. WMV 9 for LAN (100Kbps)

  6. Select Windows Media Video (WMV) as the file type and click on the Options button.
  7. Click on Profile tab in the Video Save Options dialog.
  8. Select Windows Media Video 9 for Local Area Network (100Kbps) from the drop-down menu. Click on the OK button.

  9. Name and save your video file.
