Adding and editing background audio

You can add single or multiple audio files as background music to the selected slideshow. In the slideshow panel, click on the background audio icon. There you can add single or multiple audio files. For more complete control, access the Advanced Audio Settings dialog box to combine multiple audio files in a slideshow as well as customize advanced audio options such as timing and duration.

Adding and editing background audio

Adding a Single Audio File

Select the slideshow in the Preview Panel and click Add background music and select whether to apply the audio file to the current menu page or all pages. Locate the file you want to use.

Adding Multiple Audio Files

Option 1:
Use this option if you want the audio files to fade in and out to match the number of slides. To begin, navigate to the advanced audio settings dialog box, drag and drop a single audio file over the slides where you want it to start playing. Then you can add subsequent audio files to start playing on a different slide in the same slideshow. To select multiple audio files to add after the first audio file has been added, hit Ctrl and select the audio files to drag them onto the timeline. The audio of the previous audio clip will automatically fade out when the next one begins playing. Your original slideshow duration won't be changed, and the audio files will fade in and out to match the number of slides.

Option 2:
Please use this option if you want to play the full audio files and match the slideshow to the audio duration.

To begin, navigate to the advanced audio settings dialog box. If you concurrently drag and drop two or more audio files to the timeline as the first audio files, your audio files will play one after another. You can also choose Match the Slideshow to the Audio Duration, so your audio files will play in their entirety and the display time of each slide will be adjusted accordingly. You can also select Arrange to set the play order of when each song will play their entire length in your slideshow.

Notes:
Select the Match slideshow to audio duration checkbox to synchronize the slideshow length to the length of the audio file.

Selecting Match slideshow to audio duration disables the Default duration because the duration of the selected slideshow will depend on the length of the specified audio file.

You can click on the Auto Fade-out icon to turn this function on and off.

Use Batch Collect to create slideshows
Instead of adding new photos or video clips to your slideshow project by browsing each folder, Batch Collect lets you check the folders you'd like to add in your projects immediately. The folders you have checked will be created as separate slideshows in your project.
Adding descriptions
Aside from decorating your slideshow, you can also apply captions to your slides by using the Add Description feature. Adding descriptions to your images can help make your slideshows more informative and can be used as notes for future viewing.
