Using the Lathe Object Tool to create axis-symmetric objects

5. Draw a Freehand silhouette of a champagne glass. By default the sensitivity of the Accuracy is set to 50 although you may set it to any sensitivity you like.



6. Click on the Adjust button. This tool allows you to alter what you have according to set nodes (as indicated by small squares on the path).

    To adjust the path, drag the nodes to create the path that you would like. Move the path by clicking and holding the nodes. You can also rotate the direction of the path by clicking on a node to highlight a node and then dragging the rotational nodes around it.

    If you would like more nodes to work with simply click the Add Node button and click on the path where you want the new node to reside. You may also delete nodes if you feel that there are too many.

7. Adjust the path until you are happy with what you have drawn. When you are ready, press  .
