- Importing the COOL 3D file into Video Editor.
To import the .c3d file into a Video Editor project with the background video, create a new project then click Insert Video File in the Timeline to open the Insert Video File dialog box. After locating the file moto.mpg, click Open and place the video in on track Va or Vb.
Now import the PRIME Network animation. Click Insert Video File in the Timeline to open the Insert Video File dialog box again. After locating the file you saved from COOL 3D™ Production Studio, click Open.
Place the clip on an overlay track (i.e. V1).
NOTE: Overlay options are only available when a clip is placed on an overlay track (i.e. V1, V2, and others).
Right-click on the file and select Overlay Options. In the Overlay Options dialog box, set the Overlay Type to Alpha Channel. Click OK.
NOTE: Cool3D project files are automatically saved with an Alpha Channel.
You now have successfully imported the 3D animation you created in COOL 3D™ Production Studio into MediaStudio Pro and recreated the PRIME Network jump cut video.
