Quick Task Launcher
Now you have a central point to start all your projects. Whether you want to import photos from a camera, scanner or camcorder, browse your photo collection, edit or enhance photos or create a card, calendar, photo album or other fun photo project, the Quick Task Launcher gets you on track fast.

Photo Express keeps you on track by showing you available options in the top level task bar. Photo projects are organized into easy steps that guide you from start to finish.
Projects - All Together Now
All of Photo Express’s different projects are now grouped into a single menu called “Create.” The new “Create” menu is available in both Browse and Edit modes for easy access and lets you make Cards, Photo Albums, Calendars, Slideshows, Wallpaper, Mobile Images, Mobile Animations, Web projects and Animated GIF projects.
Photo Albums
Multi-page Photo Albums are the perfect way to show off sets of photos. Choose from a variety of themes in landscape, portrait or scrapbook orientation. Present your photos in groups of one to four photos per page. Complete your Photo Album with text, props, a personal signature and more! Your photos will love their new home.
Even More Projects*
Photo Express 6 gives you even more fun projects for your photos. Use your photos to create Mobile Images, Mobile Animations, Web Pages and Animated GIFs.
Props!*
When you want to say "Cute as a Button," use a real button! Your photos will say more with callouts, symbols, party favors and many other fun objects you can add as props. Add one or many. Place props anywhere on your photo and reposition them anytime. Rotate and resize your props for a perfect fit.
Filmstrip Browse Mode
New Filmstrip browse mode joins Thumbnail and List modes as a third way to browse photos on your computer. In Filmstrip mode, photos in the current folder appear as thumbnails at the bottom of the screen with the selected photo displayed in the workspace. Quickly step through your shots to find just the right one.
Full Screen Browse Mode
See your photos full screen. It’s easy to create instant slideshows to show off your pictures.
MPEG-2 Playback
Photo Express lets you browse and enjoy more than just photos. In Thumbnail and List browse modes you can view and play back audio and video files using the built-in media player. Now Photo Express 6 lets you play high quality MPEG-2 video.
Larger Filmstrip
The filmstrip at the bottom of the screen shows all the photos you have open for editing or fun photo projects. Now the filmstrip shows larger thumbnails so it’s easier to find the photo you want. For even more editing space, you can now show and hide the filmstrip at the touch of a button.
Customizable Skins
The Change Skin command, found in the Global Task bar, now lets you directly choose an image on your computer to use as the background for your workspace.
Two-sided Printing
When you select multiple image files in Browse mode or when printing Photo Albums, you now have the option to print on both sides of the page with printers that support duplex printing.
